The Floors are an alternative rock band from London, UK. The band's main focus is taking an eclectic beat-driven sound, and fusing it with an alternative rock and blues-infused sound. Since their formation in 2006, the band have released two studio albums and three EPs. The Floors' debut album, Planes, was released in 2009 and was met with critical acclaim. Their sound incorporates heavy levels of distortion, reverb, and electric guitar to create an atmospheric rock sound. The Floors have toured across Europe and North America, and have appeared at leading music festivals including Glastonbury, South by Southwest and The Great Escape Festival. In 2017 the band released their second album, Wildfires, which was met with widespread commercial and critical success.
