About The Middle East
The Middle East is an indie rock band from Townsville, Australia who formed in 2008. Lead by songwriter and vocalist, Rohin Jones, the band is comprised of four core members. Known for their melodic, organic sound, The Middle East’s unique blend of folk, rock, blues and country has won them critical acclaim and a loyal worldwide following. They released their debut EP, The Recordings of The Middle East, in 2009, as well as two full-length albums, I Want That You Are Always Happy and The Cut, before disbanding in 2013. The band reunited in 2016 and has continued to tour and record music for their devoted fans.
