Formed in 2012, the band consists of vocalist/guitarist Ambrose Kenny-Smith, guitarist Matt "Bonus" Alderman, bassist/vocalist Alec Farmer, drummer Harli Spencer and keyboardist Jackie Marshall. Following their first album, "Lovers", in 2014, they subsequently released four more albums, "Young Blindness" (2016), "Old Locomotive" (2018), "Manic Candid EP" (2018) and most recently "Reegardless" (2020).
The Murlocs connect traditional garage rock influences with a modern indie twist. They draw inspiration from the likes of The Kinks, The Zombies, The Monkees, The Meters, and more.
