About The Others
The Others are a British garage band, founded in 2003 by Dominic Masters and brothers, Gaz and Liam Williams. The band grew a cult following with their blend of hip hop, grime, punk, and other genres with their signature loud attitude.
Their first album, The Others, was released in 2004 through Island Records and sold over 120,000 copies. The lead single, "Stanley Calling", gained them a great deal of airplay in the UK and overseas. Their follow album, Lower the Tone, released in 2005, showcased their growing maturity as songwriters. It's single, “This Is for the Poor”, produced by the Williams brothers, was nominated for the Mercury Music Prize.
In later years The Others took a break from releasing albums and focused on performing and making remixes and covers of other bands songs. They have toured with acts such as The Arctic Monkeys, and performed at festivals such as Glastonbury. The Others returned
