About The Sleepyheads
The Sleepyheads are an indie-pop/folk group from London. Formed in 2012, the band is composed of front-woman Rachel Cross and three ex-members of her former band, members Nicky Wells, Daniel Leaver and Chris Purcell. They have released five studio albums to date, including 'Avalanche' which reached number 8 on the UK Albums Chart. The band draws its influences from a vast array of genres such as folk, jazz, blues and Motown. They are particularly renowned for their use of melodic guitar riffs and a fondness for dark, brooding lyrics. Their most recent releases include 'Lament' and 'Time Will Tell', and the band are currently touring the US in support of the new record.
