The Spitfires are a four-piece punk rock band originally from Watford, Hertfordshire. Founded in 2012, the band was awarded the accolade of Best UK Breakthrough Act at the 2018 AIM Independent Music Awards.

The Spitfires’ debut single, A Thousand Times, was released in April 2013. The band have since released a further five albums and two EPs, the most recent being Year Zero (2018). They’ve developed a loyal fan base through constant touring throughout the UK and Europe.

The Spitfires’ songs are heavily influenced by mod and soul, with frontman Billy Sullivan drawing on his experiences growing up in Watford. Over the years, they’ve gained critical acclaim for their energetic and uplifting live shows, with fans particularly responding to Sullivan’s passion and drive.
