The Vasco Era is an indie rock band from Brighton, England. The band was formed in 2008 by vocalist/guitarist Jacob Anderson and drummer Tom Knox, with the line-up completed by bassist Rich Cole and guitarist Jaime Roberts. After the release of their debut album 'The Brightest Day' in 2009, they achieved moderate success with their single 'Daylight' peaking at number 56 in the UK Top 75 singles chart. They released a further two albums, 'The Winter ofOurDiscontent' and 'To The Wilderness', both of which were well received by critics. Their sound incorporates both musical elements of folk, rock and their own unique brand of indie. The Vasco Era broke up in 2018 after 10 years of making music together. They have left behind a legacy of amazing songs that have resonated with fans everywhere.
