About The Zombies
The Zombies are an English rock band from St Albans, Hertfordshire, England, that formed in 1961. The members included Colin Blunstone (vocals), Rod Argent (keyboards, vocals), Chris White (bass, vocals), Paul Atkinson (guitar), and Hugh Grundy (drums). In the 1960's they released their debut studio album The Zombies and went on to become one of the most popular and influential bands of the era. They had a string of hits including 'She's Not There', 'Tell Her No', and 'Time Of The Season'. The band split up in December of 1967, but they re-united in the late 1990's and have subsequently released three more studio albums and performed extensively on various tours. The Zombies are best known for their trademark vocal harmonies and expansive, psychedelic arrangements and have become one of the most admired British Invasion bands of the 1960s.
