Tiny Ruins is a music project based in Auckland, New Zealand, led by singer-songwriter Hollie Fullbrook. She started out performing solo in 2010, eventually forming a backing band in 2013. In the same year the group released their boundary pushing debut album, Brightly Painted One, to positive critical reception. Many of the band’s songs have featured in film and television soundtracks, most notably in the 2015 Black Mirror episode 'Hated in the Nation' starring Kelly MacDonald. Over the years they have continued to evolve their unique sound, working with a variety of collaborators and new instruments to create melodic, intimate and longing songs in the folk-rock genre. Tiny Ruins recently released their fourth album, Olympic Girls in 2019.
