Trick Daddy is an American hip hop artist from Miami, Florida. He rose to fame in 1998 following the release of his debut album, Based on a True Story. Since then, he has gone on to release nine studio albums, including classics like Thugs Are Us, and Book of Thugs: Chapter AK Verse 47. He's well known for his use of Miami bass, his explicit lyrics, and his collaborations with other prominent Miami hip hop artists. Trick Daddy has also collaborated with some of hip hop's greatest artists, including Lil Wayne, T-Pain, The Notorious B.I.G., and CeeLo Green. He is considered one of the most influential hip hop artists from his area, and one of hip hop's most important contemporary artists.
