About TRUCK
TRUCK is an explosive, jazz-influenced rock band from Norway. The group was founded by acclaimed saxophonist and composer Erland Dahlen and his dynamic brother, guitarist Erlend Dahlen, and joined by Ola Høyer on double bass. All three members share a passion for musical experimentation that ranges from classic rock to avant-garde jazz.
The group’s innovative music continues to challenge the boundaries of genre, while delivering wild, unrelenting live performances. Their first two albums, The Sounds from the Waking City and Distant Thunder, have earned them widespread critical acclaim both at home and internationally.
TRUCK is a frequent performer at international festivals, from their home in Norway to America and Europe. They have also toured with established bands such as The Mars Volta, Shuggie Otis, and Animal Collective.
