Unicorn tickets

Unicorn is a punk and alternative rock band from Tokyo, Japan, active from 1979 to 1985. Their unique sound blended punk and new wave with East Asian influences. The group was formed by singer and composer Yasuharu Konishi, bassist Mizutani Makoto, and drummer Hidehiko Ued. The band released numerous albums with major-label labels including Victor in Japan and CBS/Sony in the United States.

Unicorn released five studio albums and was particularly successful in their home country of Japan. In 1980, they released their first single, "That's Dancin'". Their first major hit, "Koi no Miracle" was released off their 1981 debut studio album, Japanese Girl. The single was followed by numerous other top 40 hits in Japan. They released their final record, 1986's Connection in 1985.

After the group split in 1985, Konishi pursued a solo career and went on to form the group Pizzicato
