Unwritten Law is a Californian rock band that has been performing since 1990, initially under the name Grubby. The band consists of five members - lead vocalist Scott Russo, guitarists Rob Brewer and Steve Morris, bassist Pat "PK" Kim and drummer Dylan Howard.

Unwritten Law have released eight albums of punk-inspired alternative rock, including their gold-certified 2002 LP 'Elva'. The band is best known for their upbeat single 'Seein' Red', which featured on that album and peaked at number 3 on the US Rock chart.

Their most recent album is 'Swear Jar' (2011), and the band are currently playing shows and festivals on the west coast of the US. Unwritten Law's strong fan base, established over the course of their two-decade career, has resulted in sold-out shows and a consistent touring schedule that shows no signs of slowing down.
