Violent Femmes are an American punk band with a unique musical style. They are best known by their famous songs like Blister in the Sun, Kiss Off, Add it Up, Gone Daddy Gone, Please Don't Go, and many others from their highly successful self-titled debut album released in 1983. The band members are singer, guitarist and songwriter Gordon Gano, bassist Brian Ritchie, saxophonist and keyboardist Blaise Garza, and drummer John Sparrow.
