Weedeater tickets

Weedeater is a three piece sludge metal band from Wilmington, North Carolina. The band is composed of vocalist and guitarist Dave "Dixie" Collins, bassist Dave Hutto, and drummer and vocalist "Shep" Shepherd. Weedeater is often classified as a stoner metal band due to their thick, sluggish sound, often compared to that of Kyuss and High on Fire. Weedeater's lyrics mostly contain imagery of nature, both humorous and dark. Throughout their career, Weedeater has released six full-length albums, four EPs, and two split albums with Thou. They've gained a reputation for being an explosive live act, performing well known tracks like 'God Luck and Good Speed' and 'Alcohol Anthem' with a powerful and hypnotic energy. Weedeater is currently on hiatus, but their albums and live performances have earned them a dedicated fanbase over the years.
