Weyes Blood is an American folk-rock, art-pop musician/songwriter based in Los Angeles, California. Born Natalie Mering, she has been releasing music since 2011, with her breakthrough album Titanic Rising arriving in 2019. Her music is a combination of 60s and 70s folk rock and soft pop, but with her own, very distinctive take on those genres. Along with a range of solo releases, Weyes Blood has collaborated with the likes of Ariel Pink, Kevin Morby and foxygen. Her style has seen her music appear in television, advertisements, web series and festivals, along with her gaining critical acclaim across the world, whose sound and story telling continue to gather a growing cult of devotees.
