Scottish hit-maker Lewis Capaldi has officially ended his live-music hiatus, announcing a five-date arena tour of Australia for February–March 2026.
Revealed overnight (9 July) via the singer’s social channels and promoter Live Nation, the “Still Someone You Loved” tour will open at Brisbane’s Riverstage on 24 February before stopping in Sydney (26 Feb), Melbourne (1 Mar), Adelaide (4 Mar) and Perth (6 Mar).
It marks Capaldi’s first Australian headline run since 2020 and his first shows anywhere since he stepped away from the road in mid-2023 to focus on managing Tourette’s syndrome and anxiety after a difficult Glastonbury set.
“I’ve had nearly two years to rest, write and get the help I needed,” the 28-year-old said in a video message to fans. “I’m ready to sing my wee heart out again – and I can’t think of a better place to start than Australia.”
Pre-sale tickets open for Live Nation members on 15 July, with general release set for 17 July at 10 a.m. local time. VIP packages – including an acoustic sound-check performance and dedicated lounge access – will also be available.
While Capaldi stopped short of confirming album three, he teased that audiences will “hear a few new ones” alongside chart staples “Someone You Loved” and “Wish You the Best.”
Mental-health safeguards remain a priority: the tour will feature a reduced show schedule, on-site medical support and “safe spaces” inside venues, measures applauded by charities such as Beyond Blue.
With #CapaldiDownUnder already trending, demand is expected to be fierce; fans are urged to register early at livenation.com.au.
