Starter for Ten is a new musical adaptation of David Nicholls' novel and the 2006 HBO/Playtone film of the same name. Set in 1985, it tells the coming-of-age story of eighteen-year-old Brian Jackson, who leaves his hometown of Southend to start his first year at Bristol University.
