About The Hours
The Hours is a popular English alternative rock band from London. They first formed in 2000 and have released seven studio albums and multiple EPs. Each of the band’s albums are known for their somber ambient rock structures and unconventional chord progressions. The Hours signed with EMI back in 2001 and had their breakthrough hit with “Ali’s Party” in 2002. This single was certified Gold in the U.K., giving The Hours a major boost in both exposure and popularity. Since then, the band has made appearances in the Glastonbury Festival, Latitude Music Festival, and The Great Escape Festival. The Hours have also been nominated for various awards throughout their career, such as the Brit Award for Best International Breakthrough Act and the NME Award for Best Dancefloor Filler.
