About Mount Palomar

Mount Palomar is an indie rock band from Los Angeles, California. The band is comprised of Jesse Emerson on vocal and guitar duties, Jeremy Smith on drums, and Tyler McManus playing the bass. Musically, they combine elements of folk, post-punk, and rock 'n' roll to create their unique sound.

Mount Palomar was founded in 2015 after Emerson and Smith met while attending college in Santa Barbara. After touring throughout the US as a two-piece, they added McManus to the lineup in 2017. In 2018, they released their debut album, "Escaping Other Worlds", to critical acclaim. Their single, "She's a Dreamer", has drawn thousands of streaming listeners and won them press from several indie media outlets.

The band is currently working on their sophomore album and have been touring extensively in support of it. They have made appearances at several festivals, including Outside Lands, the ACL Music Festival, and SXSW.
