Satoshi Tomiie is a Japanese music producer, composer and DJ. He rose to fame as a House producer in the late 80s with his single ‘Tears’ and subsequent album, Full Lick. He was also heavily involved in the Acid Jazz label, delivering remixes of classic funk and jazz songs for the label. His work as a producer has taken him all around the world from Tokyo to Berlin and beyond. He's had various nomiations for his work, including Best Remixed Recording from the Grammy's for his remix of Daft Punk's 'Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger.' While he continues to do remixes for various labels, he has his own label, SAW. Recordings, as well as a residency in Tokyo at the famed velvet underground club.
