Formed in the mid 1980s, Stereo MCs is an English electronic music group from Clapham, London. The duo, Robert 'Rob B' Birch and Nick 'The Head' Hallam, along with early support from vocalist Cath Coffey, blended hip hop, house and funk. Their first two albums attracted widespread acclaim in the UK and Europe and, most notably, the hit single 'Connected' became a world-wide club anthem and sold over a million copies.

Having successfully beaten the odds as a certain breed of electronic pioneers, the group released five further studio albums with increasing success in the US and South America. Intrinsically linked to the London City sound, that they pioneered at the time, Stereo MCs continue to be showcased among the very best in contemporary dance and hip-hop music.

In recent years, as well as garnering dates across the globe and continuing to work on new material, they have
