Jesse McCartney is an American singer-songwriter, actor and voice actor. Born in 1987, he began his career as a child actor, portraying roles in musicals such as "Aladdin" and "The King and I". He is also a former member of the teen band Dream Street. In 2003, McCartney started his solo music career with his debut album, "Beautiful Soul". The album contained two hit singles, which propelled him to fame, and he subsequently released three other studio albums. In recent years, McCartney has focused more on his acting career, having guest starred in various popular series. He had a recurring role in the Showtime series “Shameless” from 2016 to 2017. McCartney also provided the voice of Theodore in the “Alvin and the Chipmunks” cartoon series. In 2020, he released his fifth and most recent album, “In Technicolor Part 2".
