There couldn't be a more clever yet ironical DJ name out there, other than Tristan Hallis, stage name, Dj Borning. Funny enough, his name is the complete opposite of his musical personality.
Always endeavoring in producing and exploring new realms of electronic music, hinting towards a futuristic approach to his tracks, DJ Boring is everything else BUT boring.
His first breakthrough came in 2016 off the back of a track named "Winona" in 2016. The lo-fi lavish house track sampled Winona Ryder and became a Youtube hit thanks to the release of pop culture phenomenon "Stranger Things". The track amounted over 1 million hits and was gifted a vinyl release the same year.
Despite his bantering track, DJ Boring has created a DJ career, driven by his productions. His sets are always full of character, oscillating freely between house, techno, and funk. Is that really boring?
