Fruit Bats tickets

Fruit Bats is an American indie folk group that was formed in Chicago in 2001. The founding members Eric D. Johnson, Dan Strack and Frankel formed the group which draws influence from a range of genres. Fruit Bats have released eight studio albums as well as four EPs and one live album. Johnson's solo career is considered to be the main musical thread while the band has changed its lineup throughout time.

Fruit Bats peaked in the 2010s with the release of 2011's Tripper and was nominated for a Grammy for the second track from that album, “You're Too Weird”. At the time, Fruit Bats also released a series of split 7"s, in support of a charity. Since then, Fruit Bats have continued to release music and tour internationally, most recently touring North America through 2020.
