Evil Scarecrow are a English rock band from Nottingham, England, formed in 2001 by Doctor Nox, Jim Robo, Ironclad Lou and Andy Freeze. The group are known for their costume-clad theatrical live performances while delivering intense, distorted and melodic metal-tinged rock songs. Performing at Glastonbury Festival in 2011 and having songs featured on Misfits and video games such as Brawhalla, Evil Scarecrow are one of the most visible and popular British metal bands of the 21st century.

The band have released six studio albums, plus a live album and a compilation album. Titles such as Force of Habit (2007) and Chapter IV: Anthems of Annihilation (2010) show the band blending heavy metal with classic rock and science fiction themes. They have also released a wide variety of singles and two EPs, most notably featuring the anti-establishment anthem “Crabulon” from Creature of the Wheel (2014).
