Jonathan Lemalu is a bass-baritone opera singer from New Zealand. He started singing when he was 10 and trained at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester. Since his college graduation in 2001 he has become one of the most sought after Classical Crossover singers in the world, regularly performing in some of the most prestigious concert halls. He has also appeared in operas in Covent Garden, the Sydney Opera House, and La Scala. Lemalu's album works include Bach: Mass in B Minor, Schubert:Winterreise, Charpentier: Te Deum, and Davies:The Beltane Fire. Since his debut, Lemalu has been critically acclaimed as one of the best classical singers of his generation.
