Hasan Minhaj is a stand-up comedian, actor, writer, and television host from California. Since 2014, he has been a Senior Correspondent on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah. He began performing standup comedy in 2008 and made his first television appearance as a contestant on Last Comic Standing in 2011. Minhaj made his feature film debut in 2014 with the critically acclaimed comedy film, "Dirty Wars". In 2017, he premiered his first Netflix stand-up special, Homecoming King. He is also the host of his own weekly show on Netflix, Patriot Act With Hasan Minhaj, which tackles modern culture and politics. In 2018, Minhaj released his first book, Homecoming: One Man’s Story of Belonging and Displacement.
