About The Australian Pink Floyd
The Australian Pink Floyd are an internationally renown, Pink Floyd tribute band, formed in Adelaide, Australia in 1988 by founder and current song instigator, creative director and lead guitar player, Jason Sawford. Since forming they have gone on sell out countless tours, with over 4 million tickets sold, they are considered to have one of the most dedicated fan bases of any tribute band. Member Adam Danaher joined in 1997 and remains as the only original founding member and they have gone on to to complete over 3000 concerts in 37 countries. The band itself have won multiple awards and been recognised for their hard work and their efforts to replicate the original sounds of Pink Floyd. The Australian Pink Floyd truly bring back the aura of Pink Floyds spectacular live performances and have become a global phenomenon.
