About Mud Morganfield
Mud Morganfield is an American blues singer, songwriter, and guitar player, following in the footsteps on his father, famed bluesman Muddy Waters. Born in 1960 and raised on the West Side of Chicago, Mud began learning the blues from his father who helped teach him guitar and the blues style.
Mud Morganfield has released several albums and singles and was deeply involved in the blues scene in Chicago throughout the late 1990s through to early 2000s. His sound has been described as classic Chicago blues, thanks to the influence of his father. Along with his own releases, Mud has also been featured in many compilations and has collaborated with various other musicians.
Throughout his career, Mud Morganfield has also been featured on tours, including a 2016 tour with the Muddy Waters Tribute Band. In addition, he often takes part in benefits to assist musicians in need. He has released several albums since his debut in 2011, with his most recent
