About Jay Sean
Jay Sean is a British-born R&B and pop singer, songwriter and record producer who has achieved considerable success amongst the UK urban music scene. He made his debut in 2003 with his album Me Against Myself and since then has released 4 studio albums, 3 compilation albums as well as numerous hit singles.
He gained major attention in 2009 with his worldwide hit single "Down," featuring rapper Lil Wayne, which became the fastest selling single of the 21st century in the United Kingdom and peaked at number one in the United States. Other singles from his albums that have gained significant attention include "Eyes on You" and "Stolen."
Jay Sean has won multiple awards including two Mobo Awards, two NRJ Music Awards, one World Music Award and one Hit of the Year Award at the BBC Asian Network. In 2010, his single "Down" was even nominated for a Grammy Award.
