Efterklang is a Danish band that has enjoyed critical praise for their creative collaboration of experimental rock and classical music. They formed in 2000, and have released six studio albums and over 20 singles. Their debut album ‘Tripper’ was met with critical response in 2004, and since then they’ve gone on to perform live around the world. They’ve collaborated with many other artists, such as Ryuichi Sakamoto for their fourth album ‘Piramida’. Efterklang have also composed music for film and theatre projects, and have released more club and dance orientated music via their label Rumraket. They continue to tour and create many different styles of music.
