Echobelly are an alternative rock band formed in London, England in 1993. The band consists of vocalist Sonya Auroroa Madan, guitarist Glenn Johansson, bassist Alex Keyser and drummer Debbie Smith. They released their debut album Everybody's Got One in 1994, and achieved a measure of success with their singles 'Great Things' and 'Taste of You' both charting in the top 10 in the UK. Their 1995 album On topped the UK Indie Chart, with the singles 'Dark Therapy' 'King of the Kerb', 'Insomniac' and 'Car Fiction' all performing well in the UK and Europe. They continued to release albums and tour, and in 2018, celebrated their 25th anniversary by performing a series of shows. Echobelly's eclectic style and catchy, melodic sound have made them a popular act with fans throughout their decades-long career.
