The Slow Readers Club are an English rock band from Manchester, who formed in 2010. Lead singer Aaron Starkie and his brother Kurt joined forces with guitarist and DJ James Ryan and bassist Art Williams in the early days. They released thei debut album “Cavalcade” in 2012, and since then have released a further four albums and a number of EPs. Their sound is a combination of post-punk and alternative rock, with a darker, moodier feel. Since their emergence they have toured extensively in the UK and Europe, building up a loyal fanbase. They have also made appearances on TV and Radio and festival stages including Glastonbury.
