About Architects (UK)
Architects is a British metalcore band formed in 2004 in Brighton, East Sussex. Initially founded by twin brothers Dan and Tom Searle, the band's lineup saw changes early on but settled with key members including vocalist Sam Carter, guitarist Josh Middleton, bassist Alex Dean, and drummer Dan Searle. Known for their intense sound, complex guitar work, and thought-provoking lyrics, Architects rose to prominence with albums like "Hollow Crown" and "All Our Gods Have Abandoned Us." The band faced a major turning point when Tom Searle passed away in 2016, yet they continued to create music in his memory, with subsequent albums like "Holy Hell" and "For Those That Wish to Exist" exploring themes of loss, environmentalism, and resilience.
