Area 11 is a British rock band formed in Oxford in 2009. They are best known for their fusion of rock and electronic music, drawing inspiration from video game music, as well as traditional Japanese music and metalcore. The band consists of Alex Parvis, Kogie Tanaka, Leo Taylor, Jonathan Kogan, and Matthew Davies.

The band has released two albums, All The Lights in the Sky and Modern Synthesis, and two EPs, Blackline and Unsect. They have released multiple singles, including ‘Shi No Barado’ and ‘Heaven-Piercing Giga Drill’. Area 11 have toured extensively throughout the UK and Europe, and have earned a reputation for putting on energetic live shows.
