Australian Made is an Australian hip-hop and urban music group. It was created in Melbourne in early 1998 by Alpha and Def Wish. Their musical style contains elements of Boom Bap Hip Hop, Latin Urban grooves, and Caribbean influences. Their debut album Australiyan Flavas was a critical success, earning them a nomination for an ARIA Award and Mercury Award. They have since released two further studio albums, 1Y2K and Best of Australian Made. Australian Made have had a long and successful career, which has seen them tour across the world, featuring on major festivals and television programs such as Big Day Out, Rage, and MTV Australia. They remain very active in the music scene today, continuing to tour and collaborate with a variety of artists.
