Blue Lab Beats is a British production duo comprised of producers/multi-instrumentalists Morris and NK-OK, whose style draws on jazz, hip-hop, and electronica. Morris and NK-OK met while attending Berklee College of Music in Boston, and the pair have built a name for themselves as producers, writers and remixers, collaborating with a wide range of artists including Anderson .Paak, Little Simz, Robert Glasper, and Erykah Badu. They have also released a number of solo EPs, including Blue Times and L•A•B. Recently their own artist project "Blue Lab" has gained traction with their debut album “Xover” receiving critical acclaim. Blue Lab Beats have created a niche for people who love, embrace, and respect traditional jazz but also take influence from hip-hop and electronic sources.
