Cali Swag District was an American hip-hop group from Inglewood, California, best known for their hit single "Teach Me How to Dougie," released in 2010. The group was formed in 2009 and originally consisted of members Smoove Da General (Chanti Glee), Yung (Corey Fowler), JayAre (Cahron Childs), and M-Bone (Mante Talbert). Their debut album, "The Kickback," came out in 2011, helping to popularize the "Dougie" dance craze. Tragically, M-Bone was killed in a drive-by shooting in 2011, and JayAre passed away from complications related to sickle cell anemia in 2014, impacting the group's trajectory. Despite these losses, their music left a lasting imprint on the hip-hop dance scene.
