Carnifex is an American deathcore and metalcore band from San Diego, California. Formed in 2005, the group consists of Scott Ian Lewis (vocalist), Shawn Cameron (drums), Jordan Lockrey (rhythm guitar), Fred Calderon (lead guitar) and GarryGary (bass).

Since their formation, Carnifex have released nine studio albums, two live albums and two EPs. Their most recent album is “World War X” released in 2019. The album spawned successful singles such as “No Light Shall Save Us” and “Eyes of the Executioner.”
