About Christopher Cross
Christopher Cross is a singer-songwriter and guitarist from San Antonio, Texas. He has released twelve albums throughout his career and has won five Grammy Awards, an Academy Award, and a Golden Globe.
Cross achieved fame in the late 70s after his self-titled debut album went quadruple Platinum and spawned hit singles "Sailing," "Never Be The Same," and "Ride Like the Wind." He has since released a variety of albums and singles that pushed the boundaries of pop.
Cross is known for his collaborations with many prominent artists, including Michael McDonald, Love and Rockets, and Smoky Robinson. His single “Think of Laura” (written as a tribute to a fan who lost her life) was a massive hit in 1984 and helped him land the 1985 Best New Artist Grammy.
