Death in Vegas are an experimental electronic rock outfit based in the United Kingdom. Founded in 1994 by Richard Fearless and Steve Hellier, the group achieved widespread commercial success with their 1998 album The Contino Sessions, selling an estimated 120,000 copies worldwide. Since then, Death in Vegas has released six studio albums, two EPs, and multiple charting singles. Their sound is a mix of psychedelic rock, dub, and electronic music, often featuring heavy beats and sample-based manipulation. They have also produced for many different artists, including The Prodigy and New Order. Death in Vegas is now one of the most well-known electronic rock outfits, and continue to innovate and explore their sound to this day.
