Draconian is a Swedish gothic metal band formed in 1994. They are known for their unique combination of doom and atmospheric metal sound which has been compared to bands such as Paradise Lost and Anathema. The band has released seven albums over the course of their career, and they have had one compilation, a live album, plus two EPs and one split album. Their most recent album, Under A Godless Veil, was released in 2020. Draconian has toured all over the world, playing gigs with bands such as Katatonia and My Dying Bride. The band has also made appearances at notable festivals such as European Summer Breeze and Rockharz Open Air.
