About Edgar Meyer
Edgar Meyer is a renowned award-winning American musician and composer. He is a master of bass with many instruments including double bass, electric bass, guitar and mandolin. Meyer has been active in the music scene since the late 70s and his work has earned him five Grammy awards. He regularly collaborates with many big names in the world of bluegrass and jazz music including Béla Fleck, Joshua Bell and Sam Bush. Meyer has featured on soundtracks and recorded over two dozen solo albums, as well as his well-known collaborations "Short Trip Home" and "Goat Rodeo Sessions". His playing style effortlessly draws from music genres such as bluegrass, classical, rock and jazz.
