About Elbow

Elbow are an English rock band, formed in Bury, Greater Manchester in 1997. The band consists of Guy Garvey (lead vocals, guitar), Craig Potter (info) (keyboards, piano, backing vocals), Mark Potter (guitar, backing vocals) and Pete Turner (bass guitar, backing vocals).
Elbow achieved commercial success with their platinum-selling album The Seldom Seen Kid in 2008, which won them the Mercury Music Prize. They have also been nominated for four Brit Awards, winning Best British Group in 2012.
The band has released eight studio albums. They have also contributed to soundtracks for various films, television series, and video games, and have had two of their songs featured on the long-running BBC drama series Grey’s Anatomy.
Elbow’s most recent studio album, Giants of All Sizes, was released in 2019. It was nominated for the Mercury Music Prize, and peaked at number
