Florence Black is an indie-rock band from South Wales, UK. Formed in 2015, the band consists of vocalist and guitarist Seth Griffiths, bassist Matthew Borden, drummer Ashley Catt and keyboardist Eloise Howells. They have released two EPs, 'The Cauldron' in 2016 and 'Give Me Gold' in 2017.

The band first came to prominence after getting playlisted on BBC Radio Wales and have since played festivals including Glastonbury, and supported acts such as Fatherson and VANT. In 2018 the band were invited to perform for the FIFA Live Live Music Finch Farm event before travelling to Vienna to represent Wales at Austrian music showcase Waves Vienna.

The band’s music incorporates folk, blues and indie-rock sounds and their lyrics offer honest reflections on life and relationships. Their single ‘Tonight’ has been described as one of their catchiest and most anthemic songs to date. Florence Black are currently
