Franky Wah's first official single was "House Party" in December 2017. Following his debut single, he started releasing new music monthly in 2018 on several independent labels.

In March 2019, he released his first single on Ministry of Sound titled "Get Me High", followed by "Hide" featuring Robinson, and "Time After Time" featuring Jessie Ware.

Franky Wah began 2020 by remixing "Therapy" by Duke Dumont. He then made his debut on Tale Of Us' Afterlife record label. His next single "Come Together" was supported by Pete Tong, Annie Mac, and Danny Howard. He was recognized as an emerging dance artist to watch by Billboard in May 2020 and named a future star of 2020 by Pete Tong.

In May 2020, he released The Revival, Vol. 1, a 14-track album/mixtape. It includes his single "You're Not Alone", which features vocals from the 1997 hit "You're Not Alone" by Olive, as well as a remix of "In This World" by Moby.

He has signed a record deal with the Ministry of Sound and has played both Glastonbury Festival and Creamfields.
