Gia Margaret is an indie folk artist from Chicago, Illinois. She released her first EP, There's Always Glimmer, in 2016, and has been releasing singles and EPs ever since. Her style blends melancholic folk tones with dreamy, airy soundscapes. Her songs often tackle difficult topics - like heartbreak and grief - with soft delicacy. In 2019, she released her debut studio album, Mia Gargaret, a stunning and emotional 11 track effort driven by her unique and introspective storytelling. The album received much critical acclaim and Margaret's growing fanbase, which includes the likes of Slowdive's Neil Halstead, continues to expand.
