GRiZ is an electronic music and DJ producer from Detroit, Michigan. He started creating music in 2007, under the name "Grizzle" which was later changed to GRiZ. His genre has been classified as electro-soul, a blend of soul, jazz, funk, and electronica.

In 2011, GRiZ released his debut album "End of the World Party" and began to attract more attention from multiple different music scenes. His EP "Mad Liberation" was released in 2012 and was praised for his incorporation of saxophone into his own remixes and tracks.

Since then, GRiZ has released several albums, including his fan-favorite "Say It Loud" and continues to tour the US and the world. His massive live shows have gained a large cult following, making his live performances some of the most sought after in the electronic music scene.
