Hania Rani is a Polish musician known for her experimental soundscapes and intricate, electronica-laden songwriting. She combines classical music, jazz, and electronica with a symphonic sound. Raised in a musical family, Rani began playing the piano at age six and has since gone on to compose music for symphony orchestras and collaborate with numerous jazz artists. Her solo work is heavily influenced by jazz, minimalism, and electronica, and often takes the form of instrumental soundscapes. In addition, she has scored a number of films and television shows, including the original Netflix show 1983. In 2019, Rani released her critically acclaimed solo album Esja, which features an expansive range of styles from baroque chords to ambient soundscapes.
